• This medicine should be administered by a qualified doctor or nurse.

• The injection is given either into a muscle or under the skin.

Nerfit Injection 2 ML is administered via an intramuscular or subcutaneous route.

Nerfit Injection 2 ML contains methylcobalamin (1500 mcg), which works in your body as follows:

• Methionine Synthase Support: Methylcobalamin acts as a cofactor for an enzyme called methionine synthase. This enzyme converts homocysteine to methionine, which is essential for producing S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), a compound that donates methyl groups in various biochemical reactions including DNA methylation.

• L-methylmalonyl-CoA Mutase Activation: It helps activate this enzyme, which catalyses the conversion of L-methylmalonyl-CoA to succinyl-CoA. This conversion is a crucial step in the metabolism of fats and proteins in your body.

• Nervous System Maintenance: Methylcobalamin supports myelin synthesis, the protective covering around nerve fibres, helping maintain proper nervous system function and preventing nerve damage.

• Red Blood Cell Formation: It plays a vital role in the production of healthy red blood cells, preventing the development of megaloblastic anaemia, a condition characterised by abnormally large, immature red blood cells.
