Neostep Tablet is used for the treatment of infectious diarrhoea. It helps control loose motions caused by bacterial or parasitic infections and supports quicker recovery by eliminating the infection and restoring normal bowel function.
Directions for Use of Neostep Tablet 10
Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and duration of Neostep Tablet. Take it all in at once. It should not be chewed, crushed, or broken. Neostep Tablet can be taken with or without food, however it's best if you take it at the same time every day.
Side Effects of Neostep Tablet 10
Neostep Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, stomach discomfort, and urine discoloration.
How Neostep Tablet 10 Works?
Neostep Tablet contains Loperamide and Furazolidone. Loperamide is an opioid agonist that acts by reducing intestinal contractions, resulting in more firm and less frequent faeces. Furazolidone is a drug that is used to treat infections. It damages the DNA of bacteria and other diarrhoea-causing germs, killing them.
