Mucofast Plus Tablet 10 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Mucofast Plus Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.

Mucofast Plus Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Mucofast Plus Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Acetylcysteine (300 mg): This component breaks disulfide bonds in mucus glycoproteins, which are protein structures that make mucus thick and sticky. By breaking these bonds, acetylcysteine reduces mucus viscosity and makes it easier to cough up.

• Ambroxol (30 mg): This ingredient stimulates the production of surfactant by type II pneumocytes, which are specialised cells in the lungs. Surfactant is a substance that helps reduce surface tension and prevents the collapse of air sacs in the lungs.
