MP2 Tablet is a corticosteroid medicine used to manage a wide range of inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, severe allergic reactions, asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, and connective tissue disorders.
It contains methylprednisolone. Take the tablet with food as prescribed to help prevent stomach irritation. Continue taking the medicine for the full duration advised by your doctor, and do not stop taking it suddenly, as abrupt withdrawal can cause adverse effects.
Following a balanced diet with adequate calcium and vitamin D, limiting salt intake, and avoiding exposure to infectious illnesses help support health during steroid treatment.
Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis, high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach ulcers, kidney or liver disease, or active infections. Corticosteroids can lower your immunity and raise blood sugar levels. Tell your doctor if you notice signs of infection, unusual bruising, or mood changes.
