Mp 1000 Mg Injection 1 is used to manage severe allergic reactions and various inflammatory conditions. It belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids, which are synthetic versions of hormones naturally produced by the adrenal glands.
It contains methylprednisolone. This injection is also given for acute flare-ups of multiple sclerosis, rheumatic disorders, inflammatory eye disorders, respiratory diseases such as severe asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, cerebral oedema, certain blood disorders, and cancers. It is administered by a doctor or nurse.
Attend all scheduled visits so your doctor or nurse can monitor your response and adjust treatment as needed. Do not stop this medicine suddenly without medical advice, as corticosteroids need to be reduced gradually after prolonged use.
Before starting, tell your doctor about any existing medical conditions, infections, or other medicines you take. Tell your doctor or nurse immediately if you notice signs of infection, mood changes, or unusual swelling while on treatment.
