Metofid Cn 10/25 Mg Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure in adults, including cases where blood pressure remains uncontrolled with a single medicine or is accompanied by angina.

Uses of Metofid Cn 10/25 Mg Tablet 10 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps control blood pressure in adults with hypertension.
• Uncontrolled Blood Pressure: Used when blood pressure is not managed by a single medicine alone.
• Angina Support: Helps manage hypertension in people who also have angina (chest pain).

Follow these instructions while taking Metofid Cn 10/25 Mg Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet, as this affects the extended-release mechanism.

• Take it at the same time each day, preferably in the morning.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

Metofid Cn 10/25 Mg Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): Acts as a dual L/N-type calcium channel blocker, which prevents calcium from entering the muscle cells of blood vessels. This causes the blood vessels to relax and widen, reducing resistance to blood flow and lowering blood pressure.

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): Functions as a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker, which means it blocks certain natural chemicals (such as adrenaline) from affecting the heart. This slows down heart rate, reduces the force of heart contractions, and lowers the amount of oxygen the heart needs to work properly.

• Store Metofid Cn 10/25 Mg Tablet 10 in a cool, dry place at room temperature below 25°C.
