LEVETEO 500 TABLET 10 is used to manage epilepsy in adults and children, helping control partial-onset seizures and, as adjunctive therapy, myoclonic and generalised tonic-clonic seizures by reducing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
It contains levetiracetam, an anticonvulsant. Take it as prescribed, with or without food, at the same time each day, whether used alone or alongside other anticonvulsant medicines, and do not stop it suddenly, as this can trigger seizures.
Getting enough sleep, avoiding alcohol, and identifying and avoiding your personal seizure triggers can help support seizure control alongside this medicine. Wearing a medical alert bracelet is also advisable.
Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, a history of depression or mood changes, or are pregnant or planning pregnancy, before starting. Report any new or worsening mood changes, unusual thoughts of self-harm, or double vision immediately.
