Lenofect 5 Mg Tablet 10

LENOFECT 5 MG TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Treating multiple myeloma after previous therapy
• Managing transfusion-dependent anaemia in myelodysplastic syndromes
• Treating deletion 5q cytogenetic abnormality conditions
• Controlling lepra reactions in leprosy patients
• Supporting immune system function in blood disorders
• Reducing the formation of new blood vessels in cancers
• Inducing programmed cell death in cancer cells
• Modulating cytokine production in immune responses
• Suppressing inflammation in certain blood disorders

Follow these instructions while taking LENOFECT 5 MG TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• You may take this medicine with or without food.
• Take this medicine at the same time each day.
• Do not open, crush, or chew the tablet.
• Keep taking this medicine regularly for the duration prescribed.
• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

LENOFECT 5 MG TABLET 10 is taken orally.

LENOFECT 5 MG TABLET 10 contains lenalidomide (5 mg), which works on the body in several ways:

• Immunomodulation: Lenalidomide enhances the function of certain immune cells, particularly T-cells and natural killer cells, which help your body fight against cancer cells.
• Anti-angiogenesis: It prevents the formation of new blood vessels that supply nutrients to cancer cells, thereby limiting tumour growth and survival.
• Direct antitumour effect: Lenalidomide directly causes the apoptosis (programmed cell death) of cancer cells and prevents them from multiplying further.
• Cytokine modulation: It regulates the production of cytokines, which are proteins that control immune responses and inflammation in your body.

• Store LENOFECT 5 MG TABLET 10 at room temperature.
• Keep in a dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
• Store in the original packaging to protect the medicine.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• If you have multiple myeloma or myelodysplastic syndromes, eat foods rich in iron and protein (like leafy greens, beans, and lean meats) to help manage anaemia, which often occurs with these conditions.
• Stay well-hydrated by drinking 8-10 glasses of water daily. This will help your kidneys filter blood properly, which is especially important when your body is fighting blood cancers.
