Laz 500 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing respiratory tract infections like bronchitis, pneumonia, pharyngitis, tonsillitis

• Controlling skin and soft tissue infections

• Handling otitis media or middle ear infection in children

• Addressing sexually transmitted diseases caused by chlamydia and gonorrhoea

Laz 500 Tablet contains azithromycin (500 mg), and its action mechanism is as follows:

• Bacterial Protein Synthesis Inhibition: Azithromycin works by binding to a part of the bacteria cell called the 50S ribosomal subunit. This process blocks crucial steps in the formation of proteins by the bacteria, which are required for their growth and multiplication.

• Broad-Spectrum Bacteriostatic Activity: By inhibiting protein synthesis, azithromycin effectively hinders bacterial growth across a wide range of bacterial species. This allows your immune system to more efficiently eliminate the bacteria causing the infection.

• Keep Laz 500 Tablet in a cool, dry place with a temperature below 25°C.

• Shield it from direct sunlight and heat.
