Lary Spray is used as oral spray

Lary Spray is a combination medicine featuring two active ingredients:

• Chlorhexidine Gluconate (0.2%): This is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent which falls under the biguanide class. Its main function is disrupting the bacterial cell membrane: this causes leakage of intracellular components leading to eventual cell death. Chlorhexidine effectively wards off a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, along with certain fungi and viruses.

• Lidocaine Hydrochloride (0.5%): Lidocaine is an amide-type local anaesthetic. It operates by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels present in the neuronal membrane. This action inhibits the generation and conduction of nerve impulses, thereby causing a reversible loss of sensation and relieving pain in the area where the spray is applied.
