Itratuf 200 Capsule is an antifungal medicine used to treat susceptible fungal infections of the skin, nails, mouth, throat, lungs or other parts of the body.

It contains itraconazole. It damages the fungal cell membrane, which stops the fungus from growing.

Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor and complete the full course. Swallow the capsule whole and follow your doctor's instructions about food.

Tell your doctor about heart failure, liver or kidney problems, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or other medicines because itraconazole has important interactions.

Itratuf 200 Capsule is used to treat susceptible fungal infections.

Uses of Itratuf 200 Capsule are:

Skin and Nail Infections: Treats ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch and fungal nail infections when prescribed.
Mouth and Throat Infections: Treats susceptible Candida infections.
Systemic Fungal Infections: May be used for aspergillosis, histoplasmosis or other serious fungal infections under specialist care.

To use Itratuf 200 Capsule correctly, follow these steps:

Always take this medicine with a full meal to improve absorption.
Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule.

Disrupts Fungal Cell Membrane: By inhibiting the production of ergosterol, itraconazole disrupts the integrity and function of the fungal cell membrane. This leads to the death of the fungus cell, thereby managing the infection.
