Insugen-N Injection is used in adults and children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus to help control blood sugar levels. It is a form of intermediate-acting insulin that helps reduce the risk of major diabetes complications. It contains human insulin/soluble insulin.
It is often combined with short-acting insulin or oral diabetes medicines. Your doctor or nurse will show you how to inject it correctly under the skin. Do not stop it without medical advice; it is one part of a treatment plan that also includes a balanced diet, regular exercise and weight management as prescribed.
Rotating the injection site, storing the insulin correctly, and monitoring your blood sugar regularly, as advised by your doctor, support appropriate use.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, or other medicines you take. Report symptoms of low blood sugar, such as shakiness, sweating or confusion, and keep a sugary snack handy in case this happens.
