Hysol Eye Drops 10 ML

Hysol Eye Drops are used for managing eye injuries and discomfort caused by dry eyes. It helps by drawing out extra water from the swollen cornea, reducing puffiness and promoting healing. It is part of a group of medicines known as ophthalmic lubricants. These may assist in the management of dry eyes and irritation, particularly when the eye fails to produce good-quality tears. The formulation helps stabilise the tear film and protect the surface of the eye. It may also help reduce irritation and support overall eye comfort during recovery.

• Sodium Chloride: Also known as salt, this ingredient pulls out excess water from the cornea, which helps reduce corneal swelling. It may assist in maintaining the right fluid balance in the eye tissues. By reducing fluid retention, it helps improve visibility and eye comfort. It may also reduce irritation and pressure caused by fluid build-up. This high concentration helps create an osmotic gradient and promote water movement out of the cornea.
   
• Phenylmercuric Nitrate: This is a mild antiseptic that may reduce the growth of bacteria in the eye. It helps keep the eye clean and lowers the risk of infection during healing and maintaining hygiene. It may support the action of other active ingredients by ensuring a sterile environment.

• Manages Corneal Swelling: Sodium Chloride at a high concentration may create an osmotic gradient and draw out extra water from the swollen cornea. This helps reduce pressure and puffiness, leading to faster healing. It may improve the clarity of vision by removing the haziness caused by fluid build-up. Phenylmercuric Nitrate, being an antiseptic, protects the healing cornea from infections.

• Squeeze the bottle gently to place one drop into the eye without letting the dropper touch your eye.
