Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• Sympathomimetic Agents: Medicines such as phenylephrine, pseudoephedrine, or ephedrine could see their blood pressure-raising effects amplified when taken alongside Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet.
• Heart Medications: Digitalis, a heart medication, could interact with Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet and increase the risk of slowed heart rate or bradycardia.
• Alpha-adrenergic Blocking Agents: Medicines like prazosin, terazosin and doxazosin might have their effects weakened when used with Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet.
• Corticosteroids: Fludrocortisone, a corticosteroid medicine, may enhance the blood pressure-elevating effects of Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet and heighten the risk of supine hypertension.

Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Heart Disease: Patients with severe organic heart problems should exercise caution as Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet could exacerbate their condition.
• Urinary Retention: Patients experiencing difficulty in urinating due to conditions like benign prostatic hyperplasia might find their condition worsening with the use of Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet.
• Thyrotoxicosis: Individuals diagnosed with thyrotoxicosis, a condition where the thyroid gland produces excessive amounts of thyroid hormone, should avoid this medication as it can potentially make their condition worse.
• Pheochromocytoma: Patients with this rare tumour of the adrenal glands that causes excess production of hormones adrenaline and noradrenaline should not use Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet as it can lead to severe hypertension.

The daily dose of Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet should be as directed by your doctor. This may differ depending on individual factors such as how severe your condition is and how well you respond to the medicine. It's important not to exceed the prescribed dosage without your doctor's advice.

If you accidentally take more Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet than you should, you may experience symptoms such as an increase in body hair, a tingling sensation, or chills. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor.

If you forget to take your Gutron 2.5 mg Tablet at the required time, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's almost time for your next dose, leave out the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Never increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.
