Gumaid Gum Astringent 15ml is used for supporting overall dental health. It is a specialised oral care solution designed to help reduce gum problems such as swollen, spongy, and bleeding gums. • Tannic Acid: Tannic acid is a natural polyphenol with astringent properties that help tighten and strengthen gum tissues. It may assist in reducing gum inflammation, spongy gums, and bleeding by forming a protective layer over the affected area. It has antimicrobial effects which helps reduce bacterial growth in the oral cavity.
   
• Zinc Chloride: Zinc chloride is an effective antiseptic and astringent that helps manage plaque formation and bad breath. It may assist in reducing bacterial growth and strengthening the gums and promoting better oral hygiene. It helps minimise gum bleeding and irritation by tightening the gum tissues.
   
• Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution: Chlorhexidine gluconate is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent used in oral care products to kill harmful bacteria and may reduce infections. It helps manage plaque, reduce gum inflammation, and manage gingivitis.

• Tear the protective ring and then tighten the cap on the nozzle. The spike in the cap will pierce the tip of the vial.
• Dispense drops with gentle pressure. Replace the cap after use.
• Put 2 or 3 drops on the tip of the index finger and rub gently on the affected area of the gums. 
• May be repeated every 3 to 4 hours or as directed by the healthcare provider.
