Graftides 360 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Prevention of organ rejection after kidney, heart or liver transplants

• Management of autoimmune disorders

• Suppression of immune response in transplant patients

• Combination therapy with other immunosuppressants

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Graftides 360 MG Tablet 10 contains mycophenolate mofetil (360 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• IMPDH Inhibition: Mycophenolate mofetil is converted in your body to its active form, mycophenolic acid, which blocks an enzyme called inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) that is crucial for making certain genetic materials in specific immune cells.

• T and B Lymphocyte Suppression: By inhibiting IMPDH, this medicine reduces the production of guanosine nucleotides (important building blocks for DNA) in T and B lymphocytes (types of white blood cells), thereby decreasing their ability to multiply and attack the transplanted organ.

• Selective Immune Suppression: This medicine specifically targets lymphocytes that rely heavily on this pathway for multiplication, providing a selective immunosuppressive effect that helps prevent organ rejection while minimizing impact on other body systems.
