Glucoryl MV 2/0.3 Tablet is used for the management of the following conditions:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Improvement of insulin resistance

• Enhancement of insulin secretion in the body

• Reduction of post-meal blood sugar spikes

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• Always take the medicine with meals to minimise possible gastrointestinal side effects.

• Do not stop this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Glucoryl MV 2/0.3 Tablet is taken orally.

Glucoryl MV 2/0.3 Tablet works to control blood sugar levels through the action of its three active ingredients:

• Glimepiride (2 mg): This ingredient belongs to a class of medicines called sulfonylureas which stimulate the pancreas to release more insulin. Insulin helps move sugar from the blood into our body's cells where it can be used or stored. Glimepiride also makes peripheral tissues more responsive to insulin, improving their ability to use glucose.

• Metformin Hydrochloride (500 mg): As a biguanide, metformin reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver and decreases how much glucose your intestines absorb from food. It also makes your body's cells more receptive to insulin which helps keep blood sugar levels in check.

• Voglibose (0.3 mg): Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that slows down carbohydrate digestion in the small intestine, helping to reduce sudden spikes in blood sugar after meals.

• Keep Glucoryl MV 2/0.3 Tablet below 25°C.

• The medicine should be kept in a dry place, shielded from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always ensure the tablet is out of reach of children.

• Use the tablet before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.
