Glimzab Mv 2/500/0.3 MG Tablet 10 is used in the following conditions: 

• Improving blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Supporting diet and exercise efforts to manage type 2 diabetes in adults
• Helping to prevent post-meal blood sugar spikes in adults with type 2 diabetes

You should take Glimzab Mv 2/500/0.3 MG Tablet 10 in the following way: 

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Glimzab Mv 2/500/0.3 MG Tablet 10 contains the following components:

• Glimepiride (2 Mg): As a sulfonylurea, glimepiride stimulates insulin release from active pancreatic beta cells by binding to receptors on their surface. This action increases intracellular calcium levels, which in turn triggers insulin secretion.
• Metformin (500 Mg):  This biguanide lowers glucose production in the liver, reduces glucose absorption in the intestines, and enhances insulin sensitivity by improving peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation. It activates the enzyme AMPK in the liver to help regulate these processes.
• Voglibose (0.3 mg): An alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, voglibose slows the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates in the intestines, which helps to lower blood sugar and insulin levels after meals.
