Gentakem D Eye/ear Drops 10ml is used for:

• Management of bacterial eye infections, such as conjunctivitis and blepharitis.
• Treatment of bacterial infections of the external ear canal.
• Reduction of inflammation and discomfort associated with bacterial ocular or ear infections.
• Prevention of infection following minor eye or ear procedures when prescribed

• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using the drops.
• Tilt the head backwards for eye use or sideways for ear use as instructed by the doctor.
• Gently pull down the lower eyelid or pull the ear lobe appropriately to allow drop instillation.
• Instil the prescribed number of drops without touching the dropper tip to any surface.
• Close the eye gently or remain in the same position for a few minutes after ear instillation to ensure proper absorption.

Gentakem D Eye/ear Drops 10ml contains the following components:

• Dexamethasone (0.1%): A corticosteroid that inhibits inflammatory mediators, reducing redness, swelling, pain, and irritation in ocular and ear tissues.
• Gentamicin (0.3%): An aminoglycoside antibiotic that binds to bacterial ribosomes, inhibiting protein synthesis and leading to bacterial cell death.
• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.02%): An antiseptic preservative that disrupts microbial cell membranes and prevents contamination of the solution.

• Store at room temperature in a dry place.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
• Protect from direct sunlight and heat.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Discard after the recommended duration following opening.
