Gentacort Fc Cream 15 GM is used to:

• Treat fungal skin infections associated with inflammation
• Manage bacterial skin infections occurring along with fungal infections
• Relieve redness, itching, irritation, and swelling associated with infected skin conditions
• Help control mixed skin infections involving fungi and susceptible bacteria
• Support the healing of inflamed and infected skin areas

Follow these instructions while using Gentacort Fc Cream 15 GM:

• Apply the cream exactly as advised by your doctor.
• Wash and dry the affected area gently before application.
• Apply a thin layer over the affected skin and the surrounding area.
• Wash your hands before and after application unless treating the hands.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and nose.
• Do not cover the treated area with tight or airtight dressings unless advised by your doctor.
• Avoid prolonged application on large skin areas unless prescribed.

Gentacort Fc Cream 15 GM is applied topically.

Gentacort Fc Cream 15 GM contains the following components:

• Fluocinolone (0.01%): It is a topical corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, redness, itching, and swelling associated with skin infections. It works by suppressing inflammatory chemicals released in the skin, thereby helping relieve irritation and discomfort.
• Gentamicin (0.1%): It is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that helps control susceptible bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. This prevents bacterial growth and helps reduce secondary bacterial infection in affected skin areas.
• Miconazole (1%): It is an antifungal medicine that works by damaging the fungal cell membrane and interfering with ergosterol synthesis, an essential component required for fungal survival. This helps eliminate fungal infection and prevent its spread.

• Store below 25°C.
• Keep the tube tightly closed after use.
• Protect from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
