It works by preventing pain signals from reaching the brain from injured nerves. Gabament 1 percent Ointment is only to be used externally. You should take it according to your doctor's dosage and timing. It should not be used on skin that is broken or injured. Any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth should be avoided. If you get it in these places by accident, rinse it off with water. Do not stop taking this medicine just because your discomfort has subsided.
