Fungizee T Cream 15 Gm

FUNGIZEE T CREAM 15 GM is used to:

• Treat ringworm (tinea corporis)
• Treat athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
• Treat jock itch (tinea cruris)
• Manage other superficial fungal skin infections
• Reduce fungal growth and associated itching, redness, or scaling

Follow these instructions while using FUNGIZEE T CREAM 15 GM:

• Apply the cream exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Clean and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer of cream over the affected skin and a small margin of surrounding healthy skin.
• Wash hands before and after application unless treating the hands.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
• Avoid application on severely broken or oozing skin unless advised by your doctor.
• Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings unless advised by your doctor.

FUNGIZEE T CREAM 15 GM is applied topically.

FUNGIZEE T CREAM 15 GM contains the following components:

• Itraconazole (1%): This is an antifungal agent that works by inhibiting the fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme 14α-demethylase. This action interferes with the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Disruption of ergosterol production weakens the cell membrane, leading to reduced fungal growth and eventual fungal cell death.
• Terbinafine (1%): This is an antifungal medicine that inhibits squalene epoxidase, another key enzyme in the fungal ergosterol synthesis pathway. This leads to the accumulation of squalene within fungal cells, which becomes toxic and causes fungal cell death, helping eliminate dermatophytes and other fungi from infected skin.

• Store FUNGIZEE T CREAM 15 GM at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight.
• Keep the tube tightly closed after each use.
• Store in a dry place away from moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date.

• Wear loose, breathable cotton clothing to reduce moisture buildup in body folds.
• Avoid sharing personal items such as towels or clothing to reduce the spread of infection.
• Change socks and footwear regularly if athlete’s foot is involved.
• Maintain good hygiene and balanced nutrition to support skin health.
