Flucort Skin Cream 20gm

Flucort Skin Cream is used to reduce itching, redness, inflammation, scaling, and discomfort in inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. It provides symptomatic relief from skin irritation when used as directed.

• Clean the affected area and dry it thoroughly. 
• Apply a thin layer of the product over the affected area.
• Do not wrap or bandage the treated area unless your doctor directs.
• Place the cap tightly after use.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream.
• Avoid getting the cream in your mouth or eyes.

Flucort Skin Cream is applied topically to the affected area. It is meant for external use only and should not be taken orally.

Flucort Skin Cream contains the following component:

• Fluocinolone (0.025%): It is a corticosteroid that reduces skin inflammation by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing symptoms like redness, itching, and discomfort associated with various skin conditions. It also aids in the restoration of the skin's barrier function, addressing dryness and scaling.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 25 ºC.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep Flucort Skin Cream away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Use mild, fragrance-free cleansers and avoid harsh soaps or hot water, which can exacerbate skin dryness and irritation.
• Apply a hypoallergenic and fragrance-free moisturiser to lock in moisture and prevent dryness and scaling.
• Identify and avoid triggers or irritants specific to your skin condition, such as certain fabrics, detergents, or skincare products.
• Practice stress-reduction techniques such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises, as stress can exacerbate skin conditions.
• Refrain from scratching, which can worsen itching and cause further damage to the skin. 
• Protect your skin from the sun by using sunscreen, wearing protective clothing, and avoiding excessive sun exposure, as UV radiation can aggravate many skin conditions.
