Eps 5 MG Tablet 10

Eps 5 MG Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of Parkinson's disease symptoms.

• Controlling extrapyramidal symptoms.

Follow these instructions while taking Eps 5 MG Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• It can be taken with or without food.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• In case you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's nearly time for the next dose. If so, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule.

• Always follow your doctor's advice on how and when to take this medicine.

Eps 5 MG Tablet is taken orally.

Eps 5 MG Tablet contains trihexyphenidyl (5 mg), and its action on the body includes:

• Blocking Acetylcholine: Trihexyphenidyl works by blocking the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in controlling muscle movement in your brain.

• Restoring Neurotransmitter Balance: In Parkinson's disease and drug-induced movement disorders, there is an imbalance between acetylcholine and another neurotransmitter called dopamine. Trihexyphenidyl reduces acetylcholine activity, helping restore this balance and improve symptoms.

• Store Eps 5 MG Tablet in a cool, dry place at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and damp areas.

• Ensure this medicine is out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date before use and do not consume if expired.

• Engage in regular gentle exercise like walking or stretching to maintain mobility and balance, given Parkinson's disease is one of the conditions managed by Eps 5 MG Tablet.

• Limit intake of caffeine and alcohol as they can potentially worsen symptoms such as tremors and irregular heartbeats associated with Parkinson's disease.
