Eldotel Trio 80/5/12.5 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure

• Management of resistant hypertension

• Reduction of cardiovascular event risks

• Prevention of stroke in hypertensive patients

• Control of blood pressure in multiple-medication therapy

• Lowering blood pressure when single medications fail

• Management of hypertension with fluid retention

• Blood pressure control in patients with heart problems

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• You can take this tablet with or without food.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well.

• Consult your doctor if you have questions about using this medicine.

Eldotel Trio 80/5/12.5 MG Tablet 10 contains three active ingredients that work together to lower your blood pressure:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This calcium channel blocker relaxes and widens your blood vessels by reducing calcium movement into vascular smooth muscle cells. This improves blood flow and decreases the workload on your heart.

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): As a thiazide-like diuretic, it increases urination by helping your kidneys remove excess water and sodium from your body. This reduces fluid retention and lowers blood volume, thereby decreasing blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (80 mg): This angiotensin II receptor blocker prevents the hormone angiotensin II from causing your blood vessels to narrow. By blocking this action, telmisartan allows your blood vessels to relax and widen, thus lowering your blood pressure.

• Store Eldotel Trio 80/5/12.5 MG Tablet 10 at room temperature.
