DOPROST B EYE DROPS 3ML are used to lower raised pressure within the eye in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

Uses of DOPROST B EYE DROPS 3ML are:

• Glaucoma: Helps lower raised eye pressure in open-angle glaucoma.
• Ocular Hypertension: Helps control raised eye pressure.
• Combination Treatment: Combines two medicines for better pressure control.

Follow these instructions when using DOPROST B EYE DROPS 3ML:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before using the eye drops.

• Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid.

• Hold the dropper above your eye and look up.

• Place a drop in the affected eye(s).

• Close your eyes gently for 1-2 minutes after instilation.

• Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.

• Replace the cap tightly after use.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice about your condition.

DOPROST B EYE DROPS 3ML contain two active ingredients:

• Bimatoprost (0.03%): This synthetic prostamide analog mimics naturally occurring substances in the body called prostamides. It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humour (the clear fluid that fills the front part of the eye) through two different drainage pathways in the eye—the trabecular meshwork and uveoscleral routes.

• Benzalkonium chloride (0.02%): This ingredient functions as a preservative in the eye drop solution. It helps prevent contamination of the medicine by inhibiting the growth of microorganisms that could potentially cause eye infections.

• Store DOPROST B EYE DROPS 3ML at 2°C to 25°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

• Protect the eye drops from light.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from children's reach.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the label.

• Discard the bottle four weeks after first opening it.

• Maintain a balanced diet rich in antioxidants (found in colourful fruits and vegetables), which may support overall eye health when managing conditions like glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

• Regular moderate exercise may help reduce intraocular pressure (eye pressure), which is beneficial when managing open-angle glaucoma.
