DOPARICH INFUSION 5ML is used in hospital to support critically ill patients with very low blood pressure (hypotension) and shock, such as shock caused by blood loss, severe infection or injury. It helps raise blood pressure, improve the heart's pumping and increase blood flow to vital organs, including the kidneys.
It contains dopamine and is given as a slow drip into a vein (infusion) under close medical supervision, with the dose carefully adjusted to your response.
You will be closely monitored throughout treatment, including your heart rate, rhythm, blood pressure and urine output.
Your care team will review any heart rhythm problems, thyroid conditions or diabetes and the other medicines you take before treatment. Report a pounding or irregular heartbeat, chest discomfort or anxiety during the infusion.
