Dinace 2.5 Tablet is used to manage symptoms of Parkinson's disease, such as muscle stiffness, tremors and difficulty moving. It is also used to treat movement disorders caused by certain antipsychotic medicines. It contains procyclidine, an anticholinergic medicine.
Procyclidine helps restore the balance of chemical messengers involved in movement, improving muscle control and reducing stiffness and tremor.
Drinking enough water, maintaining good oral hygiene and eating fibre-rich foods may help with dry mouth and constipation associated with treatment.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, prostate enlargement, urinary retention, a heart rhythm disorder or kidney problems, and about all other medicines you take. Report severe blurred vision, confusion or difficulty passing urine promptly.
