Dapaflozin GM 2/500 Tablets 10 contains three active ingredients that work together to control blood sugar:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): This medicine works by blocking special proteins called SGLT2 receptors in your kidneys. This prevents glucose reabsorption and helps your body remove excess sugar through urine.

• Glimepiride (2 mg): It stimulates the beta cells in your pancreas to release more insulin. Insulin is the hormone that helps move glucose from your bloodstream into your cells, where it is used for energy.
