Cufmol Syrup is used for the following conditions:

• Managing wet cough resulting from respiratory tract infections.
• Alleviating chest tightness and wheezing.
• Assisting in expelling mucus or phlegm from the airways.
• Addressing cough symptoms associated with bronchitis.

To use Cufmol Syrup correctly, follow these steps:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Measure the exact quantity as advised by your doctor using a spoon or cup.
• This medicine can be taken with or without food, as per your convenience.
• Remember to keep it out of reach of children.
• This medicine is sugar based and should be used cautiously in patients with diabetes. Always consult your doctor before taking the medicine.

Cufmol Syrup is taken orally.

Cufmol Syrup contains four active ingredients which work together to manage the symptoms of a wet cough:

• Bromhexine (4 mg):  It is a mucolytic agent that helps thin and loosen the respiratory tract's mucus. Promoting the production of a thinner, more manageable mucus facilitates easier expectoration, relieving congestion and cough associated with respiratory conditions.
• Guaifenesin (50 mg): It is an expectorant that helps to increase the volume and reduce the viscosity of respiratory secretions. It irritates certain receptors in the stomach, which triggers reflexes that cause the glands to produce a thinner and less sticky mucus. 
• Menthol (1 mg): Known for its mild anaesthetic properties, menthol provides a soothing, cooling sensation in the throat and airways. This helps alleviate irritation and suppress the cough reflex.
• Terbutaline (1.25 mg): It is a bronchodilator that relaxes the smooth muscles in the airways. It helps widen the respiratory passages, making breathing easier for the patient. 

• Store Cufmol Syrup at room temperature below 30°C.
• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Ensure the bottle is tightly closed when not in use.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Use it before the expiry date printed on the package.

• Identify and avoid specific foods that may trigger or worsen respiratory symptoms. Common triggers include dairy products, caffeine, and processed foods.
• Regularly dust and vacuum the house and ensure good ventilation.
• Avoid consuming chilled and refrigerated foods, which can act as a trigger for bronchospasm.
• Avoid exposure to smoke, strong odours, and chemical fumes, as they can irritate the airways and trigger bronchospasm.
