Comax Tablet 10

The uses of Comax Tablet 10 are as follows:

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs): It is effective against many strains of bacteria that cause urinary tract infections, including bladder and kidney infections.
• Respiratory tract infections: This medication can be used to treat respiratory infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, and certain types of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
• Gastrointestinal infections: It is sometimes prescribed to treat gastrointestinal infections caused by bacteria, such as traveler's diarrhoea and certain types of bacterial gastroenteritis.
• Skin and soft tissue infections: It may be used to treat skin and soft tissue infections, including cellulitis, abscesses, and wound infections.
• Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP): This medication is effective in preventing and treating a type of pneumonia caused by the fungus pneumocystis jirovecii, which primarily affects individuals with weakend immune systems.

• Take the tablet with a glass of water.
• Swallow the whole tablet, do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Take it in the dosage suggested by your doctor. 
• It can be taken with or without food.

• Trimethoprim (80 mg): It stops bacteria from making tetrahydrofolic acid, a key ingredient for building proteins and DNA that bacteria need to survive and grow. When Trimethoprim is around, bacteria can't make this key ingredient, making it hard for them to grow and survive. This is how it helps to treat bacterial infections.

• Store Comax Tablet 10 at a temperature below 25 ºC.
• Protect the medicine from heat and light.
• Keep the tablet away from the reach of children.
• Do not use the tablet after the expiry date has passed.
