Cogvgard 9 MCG Inhaler 120 Mdi is used for:

• Long-term, once-daily maintenance treatment of bronchospasm in patients with COPD.
• Reducing the risk of COPD exacerbations (sudden worsening of symptoms).

• Hold the inhaler upright with the mouthpiece cover closed and shake it well to ensure the medication is properly mixed before each use.
• Open the inhaler by pulling down the mouthpiece cover until you hear a click, confirming it is fully open and ready for use.
• Breathe out as much as is comfortable, turning the head away from the inhaler, to prepare the lungs for medication intake.
• Place the mouthpiece in your mouth, seal your lips around it, and inhale slowly and deeply through your mouth—a click is heard as the medicine is released. Continue inhaling to ensure the full dose is delivered into the lungs.
• Remove the inhaler from the mouth, hold your breath for about 10 seconds or as long as comfortable, then exhale slowly through the nose. Close the mouthpiece cover until you hear another click, and rinse your mouth with water, spitting it out.

Cogvgard 9 MCG Inhaler 120 Mdi contains the following active component:

• Tiotropium bromide (9 mcg): Tiotropium is a long-acting anticholinergic bronchodilator. It acts by blocking muscarinic (M3) receptors in the airways, leading to sustained relaxation of smooth muscles in the bronchial walls. This keeps the airways open for a longer time, reduces hyperinflation of the lungs, and allows for easier air movement during breathing.
