Closet Tablet is used for the management of abdominal pain, muscle spasms, and cramps in the stomach and intestines. This medicine helps alleviate discomfort associated with bloating and is effective in treating conditions like biliary colic, intestinal colic, renal colic, spasmodic dysmenorrhea (period pain), and symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.

This is how you should take Closet Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet.
• It can be taken with or without food.
• Take the medicine at the same time every day or maintain evenly spaced dosing intervals throughout the day.

Closet Tablet is taken orally.

Closet Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Dicyclomine (10 mg): This anticholinergic ingredient works by inhibiting the action of a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine on your smooth muscles via competitive antagonism of muscarinic receptors. This leads to relaxation of the smooth muscles in your gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, urinary tract, and other organs, preventing painful spasms and cramps.
• Paracetamol (325 mg): This analgesic increases your pain threshold by inhibiting enzymes involved in prostaglandin synthesis within your central nervous system. This results in a reduction in the generation and transmission of pain signals. Paracetamol also acts on the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre to reduce fever.

Together, dicyclomine and paracetamol provide rapid symptomatic relief of abdominal pain and cramps through their complementary mechanisms targeting muscle relaxation and analgesia, respectively.
