Cilmikaa Tm 25 Tablet 10

Cilmikaa Tm 25 Tablet 10 is used for the management of high blood pressure (hypertension), particularly in patients who require multiple medications for adequate control. This medicine is a combination of three antihypertensive agents (Cilnidipine, Metoprolol Succinate, and Telmisartan) that work together to reduce heart rate, relax blood vessels, and lower blood pressure. It helps prevent related complications such as heart attack and stroke, and offers protection against kidney problems linked with hypertension.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Cilmikaa Tm 25 Tablet 10 is taken orally. 

Cilmikaa Tm 25 Tablet 10 contains the following component:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): As an angiotensin II type 1 (AT-1) receptor antagonist, telmisartan promotes vasodilation, reduces vasoconstriction, and decreases aldosterone secretion. It has the longest half-life among ARBs, which enables a sustained effect on blood pressure control over a 24-hour period.
• Cilnidipine (10 mg): As an L/N type calcium channel blocker, cilnidipine causes peripheral vasodilation and reduces peripheral vascular resistance. This action helps lower blood pressure.
• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): It is a beta blocker that blocks specific receptors in the heart, leading to a decreased heart rate and reduced force of heart contractions. This results in lowered blood pressure and less strain on the heart. It helps stabilise irregular heart rhythms, effectively managing conditions like arrhythmias, high blood pressure, and angina and preventing heart attacks and migraines.

• Cilmikaa Tm 25 Tablet 10 should be stored at room temperature, at 30°C.
