Cilix T 10/80 Tablet 15 is used for the following:

• Treatment of essential hypertension in adults

• Management of high blood pressure

• Blood pressure control in diabetic patients

• Hypertension with kidney disease

• High blood pressure with metabolic syndrome

• Uncontrolled hypertension on single medicine therapy

• Initial therapy for severe high blood pressure

• Blood pressure management in elderly patients

• Reduction of cardiovascular disease risk

• Protection against organ damage from hypertension

Follow these instructions while taking Cilix T 10/80 Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a sufficient amount of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day for consistent results.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well.

• Never stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

• If you have any questions about using this medicine, consult your doctor.

Cilix T 10/80 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Cilix T 10/80 Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower your blood pressure:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This component belongs to a group called calcium channel blockers. It prevents calcium from entering the muscle cells of your heart and blood vessels, causing them to relax and widen, which lowers your blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (80 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the effect of a natural substance called angiotensin II, which normally causes blood vessels to narrow. By blocking this substance, telmisartan helps your blood vessels stay relaxed and open, reducing your blood pressure.

Follow these instructions while storing Cilix T 10/80 Tablet 15:

• Store Cilix T 10/80 Tablet 15 at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the tablets in their original packaging until use to protect them from moisture.

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep all medicines out of reach and sight of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Reduce salt intake: Limit your consumption of high-sodium foods like processed snacks, canned soups, and pickles, as excessive salt can raise your blood pressure (hypertension).

• Regular physical activity: Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week, such as brisk walking or swimming, to help lower blood pressure naturally.
