Calflavone Tablet 30

CALFLAVONE TABLET 30 may interact with the following medicines:

• Bisphosphonates such as alendronate: Calcium may reduce the absorption and effectiveness of bisphosphonate medicines if taken together. A gap between administration times may be required.
• Tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, such as doxycycline or ciprofloxacin: Calcium supplements may reduce their absorption and effectiveness.
• Thiazide diuretics, such as hydrochlorothiazide: Concurrent use may increase blood calcium levels and raise the risk of hypercalcaemia.
• Corticosteroids such as prednisolone: Long-term corticosteroid use may reduce calcium absorption and decrease the effectiveness of calcium and vitamin D supplementation.
• Cardiac glycosides such as digoxin: Concurrent use with calcium supplements may increase the risk of arrhythmias, especially in patients with elevated calcium levels.
• Thyroid hormone medicines such as levothyroxine: Calcium may reduce levothyroxine absorption. A gap of several hours between administrations may be required. 

CALFLAVONE TABLET 30 may interact with foods, including:

• Foods high in oxalates or phytates: Foods high in oxalates or phytates, such as spinach and bran products, may reduce calcium absorption if taken simultaneously with CALFLAVONE TABLET 30.

CALFLAVONE TABLET 30 may interact with diseases, including:

• Kidney stones: Calcium and vitamin D supplementation may increase the risk of stone formation in susceptible individuals.
• Hypercalcaemia: Patients with elevated calcium levels should use this medicine cautiously as it may worsen the condition.
• Hyperparathyroidism: Altered calcium metabolism in hyperparathyroidism may increase the risk of calcium imbalance during treatment.

The daily dose of CALFLAVONE TABLET 30 should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may vary depending on the severity of the deficiency and individual's response to treatment. Do not exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

Overdose of CALFLAVONE TABLET 30 may lead to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, excessive thirst, frequent urination, confusion, weakness, or elevated calcium levels. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected.

If you miss a dose of CALFLAVONE TABLET 30, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
