• Benicort 4mg Injection 1ml is used to treat asthma, gout, arthritis, skin conditions, severe allergies, cerebral oedema, spinal cord injury, preterm labour, joint effusions, and skin lesions.
• Cerebral oedema associated with brain tumours
• Acute spinal cord injury
• Foetal lung maturation in preterm labour between 24 to 34 weeks of pregnancy
• Epicondylitis and tenosynovitis
• Osteoarthritic or post-traumatic joint effusions
• Skin lesions like alopecia areata, keloids, lichen planus, and psoriatic plaques

• It can be administered as a deep intramuscular, intra-articular, intralesional or soft tissue injection.

Benicort 4mg Injection 1ml contains Betamethasone (4 Mg), which performs several actions in your body:

• Phospholipase A2 Enzyme Inhibition: Betamethasone blocks the activity of an enzyme called phospholipase A2 in your body. This enzyme is involved in producing substances that cause inflammation. By blocking this enzyme, betamethasone reduces inflammation.
• Suppression of Immune Response: It suppresses the production of certain proteins (interleukins, TNF alpha, and IFN gamma) that play a role in immune response and inflammation.
