Beladin 5% Ointment 10gm

Beladin 5% Ointment is used for managing minor wounds, cuts, abrasions, and burns, helping avoid infections and promoting faster healing. The ointment contains povidone-iodine (5%), which slowly releases iodine to penetrate microbial cell walls, disrupt protein synthesis, oxidise enzymes, and interfere with DNA replication, leading to cell death. It is also applied for skin disinfection before and after surgical procedures and effectively manages bacterial infections like impetigo, folliculitis, and furunculosis, as well as fungal infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. 

• Povidone Iodine (5%): It slowly releases iodine to penetrate microbial cell walls, disrupt protein synthesis, oxidise enzymes, and interfere with DNA replication. This broad-spectrum antimicrobial action helps manage bacterial, fungal, viral, and protozoal infections, promoting faster wound healing and keeping the affected area clean and protected.

• For Minor Wounds, Cuts, Abrasions, Burns: Beladin 5% Ointment helps manage infection in small cuts, scrapes, and burns by targeting harmful microorganisms. It promotes faster healing by keeping the affected area clean and creating a protective barrier against contaminants, reducing the risk of complications.
   
• For Pre- and Post-Surgical Skin Disinfection: It can be applied to the skin before and after surgical procedures to disinfect the area. This reduces the chance of post-surgical infections, ensuring a safer recovery process.
   
• Manages Bacterial Skin Infections: It is effective in managing bacterial infections of the skin. Impetigo causes red sores, folliculitis inflames hair follicles, and furunculosis leads to boils. The ointment helps kill the bacteria responsible, promoting healing and reducing inflammation.
