Atovastrin Cv 40/75 Capsule 15 contains two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (40 mg): This component inhibits an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a crucial role in cholesterol production in the liver. By reducing this enzyme's activity, atorvastatin effectively lowers the levels of "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides while increasing "good" cholesterol (HDL) in the blood.

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): This ingredient works as an antiplatelet agent by irreversibly blocking a specific receptor called P2Y12 on platelets.
