Aspisol 75 Tablet is used in adults to prevent blood clots and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and mini-stroke in people who have had, or are at high risk of, these events.

Uses of Aspisol 75 Tablet are:

• Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention: Reduces the risk of repeat events in people with heart or blood vessel disease.
• Mini-stroke (TIA) Prevention: Helps prevent recurrent transient ischaemic attacks.
• After Stents or Bypass Surgery: Helps prevent clots forming in stents and grafts, often with other medicines.

Here are some instructions to follow while taking Aspisol 75 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water

• Avoid crushing, chewing or breaking the tablet

• Do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor

• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Aspisol 75 Tablet is taken orally.

Aspisol 75 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Aspirin (75 mg): This ingredient works by irreversibly inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzymes, particularly COX-1. It prevents the synthesis of prostaglandins and thromboxanes, which are compounds involved in the body's inflammatory response. The inhibition of these compounds reduces platelet aggregation and vasoconstriction, thereby reducing the risk of clot formation.

• Glycine (37.5 mg): As a nonessential amino acid, glycine is an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system.
