Aquamist 0.5 % Eye Drop 10 ML

Aquamist 0.5% Eye Drop is used for managing dryness, irritation, burning, and discomfort in the eyes. It contains carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), a plant-derived polymer that mimics natural tears. It provides temporary relief from dryness, burning, irritation, and discomfort caused by reduced tear production or environmental stressors like wind, air-conditioning, and prolonged screen use. By stabilising the tear film and maintaining moisture, it supports eye comfort and protects against injury or infection. 

• Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC): It is a plant-based, water-soluble polymer commonly used in eye drops as a lubricating agent. It works by forming a soothing, protective film over the eye surface that mimics natural tears, helping to relieve symptoms of dryness, irritation, burning, or gritty sensation. CMC retains moisture on the ocular surface, reduces tear evaporation, and enhances tear film stability.
