• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take this tablet with or without food.

Amlopres 3d 80/12.5 Tablet 10 contains three active ingredients that work together to lower your blood pressure:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This calcium channel blocker relaxes and widens your blood vessels by reducing calcium movement into vascular smooth muscle cells. This improves blood flow and decreases the workload on your heart.

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): As a thiazide-like diuretic, it increases urination by helping your kidneys remove excess water and sodium from your body. This reduces fluid retention and lowers blood volume, thereby decreasing blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (80 mg): This angiotensin II receptor blocker prevents the hormone angiotensin II from causing your blood vessels to narrow. By blocking this action, telmisartan allows your blood vessels to relax and widen, thus lowering your blood pressure.
