• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.01 % w/w): Benzalkonium Chloride is a quaternary ammonium compound which functions as an antiseptic. It disrupts bacterial cell membranes, inhibiting the growth of bacteria and aiding in preserving the medicine.
• Gatifloxacin (0.3 % w/w): Gatifloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, inhibits DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes. This prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, leading to their death.
