Alerfix Total Tablet is used to manage respiratory and allergic conditions such as asthma, COPD, allergic rhinitis, and bronchitis. It helps relieve symptoms like wheezing, coughing, breathlessness, sneezing, and nasal congestion. This medicine works by controlling allergic responses and airway inflammation. Alerfix Total Tablet contains three active ingredients that work in harmony:

• Ambroxol (75 mg): This mucolytic agent reduces the thickness of mucus secretions in the respiratory tract. By doing so, it makes it easier for you to clear your airways. It also possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

• Levocetirizine (5 mg): As a potent second-generation antihistamine, levocetirizine selectively binds to H1 receptors. This action blocks histamine and helps reduce symptoms of allergic rhinitis like sneezing, itching, and a runny nose.

• Montelukast (10 mg): This component acts as a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks cysteinyl leukotrienes. These are inflammatory mediators which play a key role in conditions like asthma and allergic rhinitis. By blocking them, montelukast reduces inflammation in the airways, bronchoconstriction, and mucus secretion.
