Actiblok Ipr 100 MG Tablet 10 contains metoprolol (100 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Beta-1 receptor blockade: Metoprolol selectively blocks beta-1 adrenergic receptors found primarily in the heart, preventing adrenaline and similar substances from stimulating these receptors.

• Heart rate reduction: It slows down your heart rate by decreasing the electrical signals that control heart rhythm, which reduces the workload on your heart.

• Blood vessel relaxation: The medicine causes blood vessels to relax and widen, allowing blood to flow more easily and reducing the pressure within your blood vessels.
