• Xylometazoline Hydrochloride: This active ingredient is a sympathomimetic agent belonging to the class of imidazoline derivatives. Xylometazoline works primarily as a nasal decongestant, relieving nasal congestion caused by colds, allergies and sinusitis. By stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors in the nasal mucosa, it induces vasoconstriction, leading to reduced blood flow and swelling in the nasal passages. This mechanism helps open the nasal airways, making breathing easier and alleviating discomfort associated with nasal blockages. Xylometazoline is rapidly absorbed after topical administration, with effects typically lasting between 6 to 12 hours, providing temporary relief from nasal congestion.

• Clear your nostrils by gently blowing your nose before using the drops.
• Wash your hands with soap and water.
• Sit or lie down and tilt your head backward.
• Carefully place the prescribed number of drops into each nostril without letting the bottle tip touch your nose.
• Keep your head tilted back for a few minutes to allow the drops to spread inside the nasal passages.
• After use, clean the dropper tip with a tissue and replace the cap immediately.
