Salytroint Ointment 100 GM

Salytroint Ointment is used for managing psoriasis, a skin condition characterised by red, scaly patches. It is formulated with Coal Tar, Salicylic Acid, and Sulphur, which work synergistically to control excessive skin cell production and provide relief from the symptoms of Psoriasis. Coal Tar helps reduce inflammation and slows the growth of skin cells, while Salicylic Acid exfoliates and removes the excess skin buildup. Sulfur acts as a keratolytic, softening and removing thickened skin. This ointment is more effective than steroid-based regimens in managing psoriasis, offering a gentler approach to healing the skin and reducing flare-ups.

• Salicylic Acid: Salicylic acid is a type of keratolytic agent, which means it helps to break down the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to shed more easily. This property makes it effective in managing conditions like psoriasis, where skin cells build up excessively.
