Pregnavit Capsule 10

Pregnavit Capsule 10 may interact with certain medications.

• Antidiabetic medicines (Metformin, Insulin): Thyroid hormone replacement may alter blood glucose levels, and adjustment of antidiabetic medicines may be needed. Blood sugar monitoring is recommended.
• Antiepileptic medicines (Phenytoin, Carbamazepine): These medicines may decrease the effect of levothyroxine by increasing its metabolism. Thyroid function monitoring may be required.
• Other thyroid medications: Taking additional thyroid hormone preparations alongside Levo-thyroxine may increase the risk of thyroid hormone overdose, potentially causing palpitations, rapid heartbeat, or nervousness.
• High-dose vitamin supplements: Excessive intake of additional vitamin B6 or B3 from other supplements may increase the risk of imbalance. Inform your doctor about all supplements you take.
• Iron or calcium supplements: These may reduce the absorption of Levo-thyroxine. Take this medicine at least 4 hours apart from iron or calcium supplements.
• Antacids containing aluminium or magnesium: These may reduce thyroid hormone absorption and should be taken several hours apart.

High-fibre meals, soy products, or calcium-rich foods: These foods can reduce the absorption of the thyroid hormone in this medicine if taken at the same time. Take the capsule on an empty stomach at least 30–60 minutes before food for proper absorption.

Use Pregnavit Capsule 10 with caution if you have:

• Hyperthyroidism or heart disease: Levo-thyroxine may increase heart rate, palpitations, or blood pressure, so caution is needed.
• Vitamin deficiencies or neurological symptoms: Your doctor may adjust the dose of vitamin components based on clinical assessment and laboratory reports.
• Diabetes: The medicine may affect blood sugar control. Blood glucose monitoring and dose adjustment of diabetes medicines may be required.

Take Pregnavit Capsule 10 exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Dosage depends on thyroid status, vitamin levels, and individual health conditions. Follow instructions carefully and do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Taking more than prescribed may cause nausea, palpitations, dizziness, or vitamin-related side effects. Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected.

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
