Folictin Gel 10 GM is used for managing oral discomfort and pain effectively. Folictin Gel offers dual action relief from oral discomfort by combining Choline Salicylate, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent, with Lignocaine Hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic. Choline Salicylate manages inflammation by targeting the prostaglandin pathway, while Lignocaine Hydrochloride relieves pain by temporarily numbing the affected area. This topical formulation helps soothe irritation associated with mouth ulcers, denture abrasions, or teething. The gel texture adheres well to the mucosal surface, ensuring longer contact time and sustained relief.

It blocks the action of cyclooxygenase enzymes, which are involved in producing pain-inducing prostaglandins.
