Elscab Lotion 50 ML

Elscab Lotion is used for managing scabies. It is formulated with Cetrimide and Gamma Benzene Hexachloride, both known for their potent antiparasitic and antiseptic properties. Cetrimide helps cleanse the skin and manage infection, while Gamma Benzene Hexachloride targets and eliminates the scabies mites and their eggs. Elscab Lotion is especially important to use this medicine cautiously in infants, children, elderly individuals, and those with existing skin conditions such as psoriasis or atopic dermatitis. 

• Cetrimide: Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic and disinfectant. It works by disrupting the cell membranes of bacteria and fungi, leading to their destruction. It helps cleanse wounds, cuts, and burns by killing harmful microbes and managing infection. Cetrimide also helps in reducing skin inflammation and supports faster healing of minor skin injuries or irritations such as diaper rash, pimples, and sunburn.
   
• Gamma Benzene Hexachloride (Lindane): A potent antiparasitic agent that kills scabies mites and their eggs by affecting their nervous system. It is used only when other regimens fail due to its strong action and potential side effects.

• For Scabies: Elscab Lotion helps effectively eliminate Sarcoptes scabiei mites, which burrow into the skin and cause intense itching, rashes, and irritation. It targets both adult mites and their eggs, helping to stop the spread and progression of the infection.
